Oh Canada (Trailing)

A new poem, written in Whistler, British Columbia, on this campervaning adventure just couple of days ago

Our little campervan home for the week, overlooking a lake at sunrise


Winding through mountains

foreign, comforted by familiar


Passing by waterfalls east
with ocean vistas westerly


Smells a little bit like home
but digests in abrasive new


Pinecones here look bigger
evergreens brush in softer


Sun sets faster, covered by
giant’s towering geological


No hurry from me to refind
cityscapes of Vancouver’s
No time here: laying down in
the van’s back-end, listening to


Laughter fills our souls full
until overflowing from our
