Deciding on the frequency and committing to practice, we can ease in by beginning with just a few minutes and growing our practice as we become more familiar with it.
To initiate the practice, we simply close our eyes and take a few deep breaths to relax our body and mind. We then choose a specific area of focus for our visualization, such as a goal we want to achieve, a challenging situation we want to navigate, or a peaceful place where we can enjoy mental clarity. Finally, we take our time visualizing the details of our chosen scene, engaging all your senses and immersing ourselves in our desired experience. If we struggle to maintain our positive vision when attempting to navigate goals or challenges, we can start exercising our visualization skills with peaceful scenes and slowly build to the more engaging scenarios.

Engaging the Senses

As we visualize, we actively engage our senses to make the experience more vivid and impactful. We imagine the sights, sounds, smells, textures and even tastes associated with our mental imagery.
